Q. Shards
These works featured planes that looked liked sharply-shaped fragments, connected with small rods and sometimes adhered to a base. While the size of the shards (in clear Plexiglas) varies, their shape remains largely unchanged in each piece.
The shards seem familiar, possible representations of forests or other remembered groupings. The arrangements and changing of sizes suggest they are an investigation into how repetition represents or suggests familiar landscapes.
