K. Columns

These tall vertical pieces range from four to seven feet tall. They can be understood as two types: K1 to K8 consist of clear rods placed horizontally in a tall supporting plane, either clear or black. The others, K9 to K14, are vertical rods making a self-supporting cylinder. The interior patterning visible through the cylinder is similar to that found in the OP pieces (group I). The pattern is likely from tape or paint and refracts through the rods.

"Plexiglas" (K 15) was first shown in 1967 and may be the earliest example of this group.
