L. Bundles-Tubes

Clear Plexiglas tubes were assembled to make a large geometric shape, typically a diamond or a square. The tubes were attached either to a base plane, or to each other at tangent points; the pieces were shown suspended at the Museum of Contemporary Art in 1970.

The pieces differed in a number of ways: sometimes the tube length was varied, or the spacing of the tubes was altered.Variation was also achieved by assembling similar-sized tubes in different ways.
